Join Us for a Royal Weekend of Tea (a pint), cake, and a chance of volunteering at the Salusbury Arms Pub in Tremeirchion.
Are you looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend the upcoming coronation of the king weekend? Look no further than the Salusbury Arms pub in Tremeirchion! We're excited to announce that we'll be open and supporting a special community event on the village Green.
Here's everything you need to know:
When: Monday May 8th from 12 noon
Where: The Village Green (outside the Salusbury which will be open)
What: There's something for everyone, to bring and share food, children's crafting activities along with a fancy dress competition.
For the adults, we urge you to bake a "Cake for a King" and enter into a competition (for those wishing to enter, you'll need to bring your cake to the Salusbury by 12:30 - judging will be at 14:00.
But that's not all – we're also looking for volunteers to help us out with future tasks at the pub. As we get over the final few hurdles to becoming a community pub, we rely on the support of volunteers to keep things running smoothly. With it being National Volunteering Week coming up in June, the Tremeirchion 2000 have kindly offered support in gathering names of those wishing to offer their time. There'll be opportunity for anyone to put their name forward, so that we can look to contact you in the not too distant future to recruit the troops, giving you the chance to get involved and make a difference in your local community.
So come on down to the Village Green in Tremeirchion and join us for a royal weekend of tea, cake, and volunteering. We can't wait to see you there!
Don't forget to share this event with your friends and family on social media to spread the word about this exciting community event.
