What beautiful weather we had for the first weekend of September, almost hitting 26 degrees celsius. On Sunday September 3rd, the management committee arranged for the first of the volunteer groups to get their hands dirty in the garden and surrounding outdoor areas at The Salusbury. The grass has now been cut, logs chopped and nettles tamed. The pub is looking brilliant - and what better timing than for this heat wave.
We would like to again say a huge thank you to those who put their names forward for volunteering.
If there’s anyone else interested in taking part and getting your hands a bit dirty then please know you have not missed out! We have planned for another weekend of fun ….. Sat 9th & Sun 10th September! 2 - 4pm on both days.
You can be kept up to date of the TCPL volunteer dates by signing up to the mailing lists. We keep the lists updated and will reach out based on your chosen interests: https://www.tremeirchioncommunitypub.org/howtosupport
Please be aware that if volunteers wishing to take part, please could you bring your own equipment (strimmers, pruners etc) if you have any. Also your own safety gear – gloves, appropriate footwear, goggles/face protection etc.
To keep updated on how the teams get on, you can follow the pub on Facebook and we'll post some updates of the garden next week : https://www.facebook.com/TheSalusburyArms
